Halloween was nigh out the door, when I started seeing Christmas jokes all over the web, most of them having to do with the fact that November 1st is the unofficial first day of Christmas. I went to IKEA Monday, and that confirmed it: There were Christmas decorations and 'Julmust'(a Swedish festive drink, according to the label) everywhere. Not that I'm complaining — I've been thoroughly enjoying the parade of holiday cosmetics collections that have been floating by all season (I'm especially obsessed with the Shu Uemura x Choupette collection — and the MAC Holiday 2014 is as glamorous as ever, of course), but guess what? This season, the cosmetic world will not carry the burden of limited edition collections on its own. Black Milk Clothing is doing a Christmas capsule collection full of festive apparel!
It's not exactly what you would expect — I mean, at a glance, the brand seems much more suited to party-based holidays like Halloween (their Halloween duds were adorable, if you haven't already seen them), but their Christmas gear is just as great. The collection includes everything from pristine 'White Christmas' mini skirts, to Christmas tree-printed leggings (one of those things that you never knew you needed in your life until you laid your eyes on them). The collection won't be available for purchase until November 14, but until then, here are some of my favorites.
Disco Tribe Straps Skater Dress
Pretty as a present (because come on, foil wrapping paper is the best).
The Nutcracker Scoop Skater Dress
I'm legitimately having a hard time trying to figure out where you would wear this dress.. but that doesn't mean I don't love it.
Jack Skellington Leggings
Jack And Sally Blink-182
In case you didn't get enough of him during the Halloween season, here's an absolutely adorable pair of leggings featuring the many faces of Jack Skellington.
Jack and Sally Reversible Crop
More Nightmare Before Christmas because Jack and Sally are just the cutest!
Christmas Tree 2.0 Leggings
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree..
Burned Velvet White Cap Sleeve Crop
Because we all need our winter whites.
Fairy Lights Skater Skirt
Egads! It's practically incandescent!
And finally, my personal favorite:
Wrapped Up Reversible Skater Dress
WHO DOESN'T LOVE FOIL BOWS??
